Core Students are committed to the full adventure that studio learning has to offer. I love working with motivated individuals, and I am happy to give you a guaranteed spot to reward your dedication. Each student experiences a package tailored to helping them realize their full potential. The tuition includes a mix of private lessons, group classes, graduated-level performance opportunities, and encompasses the full studio year (beginning of August through end of July). Core Students are expected to set an exemplary standard of respect for all and take responsibility for following through with our co-created growth plans.
2023-24 Studio Overview

Weekly private lessons: Ability to schedule 30 minute lessons (discounted)
or 60 minute lessons (discounted).
+In general there are 14 fall semester lessons, 2 January Term lessons, 16 spring semester lessons, 6 summer lessons,
+While there are no make-up lessons, we have alternate lesson arrangements (
online or
asynchronous lessons) for conflicts with our regular schedule.

Studio Retreat: held first Saturday in August, Four Oaks, NC
+Attending as a day-camper included, either online or in person

Recitals: (All recital fees included)
+1 large performance opportunity fall and spring semesters
+First choice at choosing recital pieces
+Guaranteed solos (if you choose) at the formal May Studio Recital
+Summer Fun Studio Performance Party

Monthly Open Mics: We meet live (online) during most months to share the music we've been working on in a friendly and supportive environment. Bonus: no extra travel involved!

Group Classes: Tuition includes credits for live-online group classes through Songflight Studio
+Practice Prep course: Fall Semester, online
+January Term courses: 2 credits for classes of your choice
